How does the Group Apprenticeship Program work?

Reed Group has committed to ensure that 60 apprentices and 20 business administration trainees work on the Building Education Revolution (BER) projects to build new or renovate existing school buildings in the New England and Northern NSW.

Reed Group has engaged Skillset & Novaskill, not-for-profit accredited group training organisations to provide the apprentices and trainees for the BER projects.

Skillset & Novaskill will recruit and employ the apprentices/trainees and lease them to the builders for the duration of their BER project. Once the BER project you are working on is complete Skillset & NovaSkill will work to find you a position with another project. What a great way to earn and learn!

This is an opportunity of a life time! Skillset & Novaskill will support you as an apprentice or trainee through regular visits and one on one mentoring. We will pay for your TAFE as well as your OH&S Induction for construction course.

You will need to be;

• Committed to working safely
• Motivated and willing to work hard.
• Prepared to travel and work across various site locations.
• Prepared to attend TAFE or other formal training on a regular basis.
• Be passionate about the construction industry.
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders are encouraged to apply
